The article entitled “Evaluation of Health-Related Quality of Life in Patients with Prostate Cancer after Treatment with Radical Retropubic Prostatectomy and Permanent Prostate Brachytherapy” [Urol Int. 2010;85(2):173–9, DOI: 10.1159/000318187] by Svetomir Dragićević has been retracted by the Publisher and the Editors.
After publication, sections of text and data in the above article were found to be reproduced from a previously published article by different authors [1]. We attempted to contact the author about the above concerns, but we were unable to find valid contact information for this author. Following COPE guidelines, the matter was raised to the author’s institution. The institution responded and informed us that due to the time passed, they do not have a valid contact for the author.
Due to the severity of the concerns this article is being retracted. The author could not be contacted about this retraction as we were unable to find valid contact information.
