Bei rechtsseitig nephrektomierten Ratten (Kontrolltiere) und bei rechtsseitig nephrektomierten Ratten mit ausgiebiger Teilresektion der linken Níere wurden die Nierengefässe 15, 30, 45, 60 und 90 min abgeklemmt. Es wurde untersucht, ob sich auf Grund von Reststickstoff- und Kreatininbestimmungen im Serum und der 24-Stunden-Kreatinin-clearance sowie der Beachtung der Ureastickstoff- und Kreatininkonzentration im Harn und der Harn-Serumquotienten eine geringere Hypoxieresistenz der geschädigten gegenüber der intakten Niere nachweisen lässt. Es zeigte sich, dass es bei teilresezierten Tieren bereits nach einer Ischämie von 45 min zu ernsten Störungen der Nierenfunktion nach den oben erwähnten Kriterien kam. Gleich schwere Veränderungen wurden bei den Kontrolltieren erst nach einer Ischämiezeit von 90 min beobachtet. Diese Ergebnisse bekräftigen die Annahme einer erhöhten Anfälligkeit von Nieren mit verminderter Funktion gegenüber Schädigungen, eine Annahme, zu der die klinische Erfahrung geführt hatte.
