Das Spektrum der urodynamischen Untersuchungsmethoden reicht heute von der einfachen Zystoskopie über mannigfache röntgenologische Techniken bis zur Uromanometrie und Myographie. Aufgrund der Aussagekraft und der Wertigkeit der einzelnen Untersuchungsmethoden hat nach dem derzeitigen Stand der Technik die Elektromanometrie in Verbindung mit der simultanen Pyelo-Ureteroskopie bei Infusionsurographie den umfassendsten Informationsgehalt. Dieses Verfahren kann ergänzt werden durch die Elektro-myographie. Entscheidende Fortschritte im Rahmen der urodynamischen Routinediagnostik können aber unseres Erachtens erst erzielt werden, wenn es gelingt, eine Methode zur simultanen Beobachtung und Registrierung des Harnflusses der Uromanometrie an die Seite zu stellen, um damit eine exakte Beurteilung der vorliegenden Verhältnisse des Harntraktes zu ermöglichen.
