Abstract
Intracapsular prostatic resection as done by the authors is a combination of two procedures, the one is a resection of almost all prostatic parenchyma from the neck of the urinary bladder to the apex, the other a plastic reconstruction of the neck of the urinary bladder by filling the resection cavity with the wall of the neck of the bladder and mu·cosa. We performed this operative method in eight prostatolithiasis, six cases prostatitis and six of prostate hypertrophy, and calculated the operating time, blood loss under operation, postoperative hematuria and days till the removal of catheter. As for postoperative observations, we took special note of the urinary frequency, condition of urination, urinary stream and sexvial intercourse.
