Die Unfallversicherungen der meisten Lander versichern die Arbeitsfähigkeit und nicht die Unversehrtheit des Körpers. Nach den Richtlinien der deutschen gesetzlichen Unfallversicherungen sind Körperschäden, die sich nicht erwerbs-mindernd auswirken, nicht entschädigungspflichtig. Auch die Zeugungsfähigkeit bedingt keine Erwerbsminderung. Der durch sie verursachte ideelle oder immaterielle Schaden kann jedoch weit über das Maβ der sie auslösenden organischen Schädigung hinausgehen. Da eine Entschädigung in Form eincr Rente nicht möglich ist und auch unzweckmäβig ware, wird der Vorschlag gemacht, die Entschädigung in Form der Zahlung eines Schmerzensgeldes durchzuführen. Da der Impotentia generandi nur bei jungen Männern gutachterlichc Bedeutung zukommt, sollte die Entschädigung der Förderung im Beruf dienen oder in anderer Form geeignet sein. dem Betroffenen zu einem befriedigenden Lebensinhalt zu verhelfen.
