Zunächst wird auf die Ursachcn einer Hämaturie unklarer Genese eingegangen. Bei jeder nephrogenen Hämaturie, ohne pyelographischc Veränderungen der Niere, und bei sonst normalem Harnbefund, sollte vor jeder Therapie eine Renovasographie durchgeführt werden. Sie ist die einzige Methode, um Gefäβanomalien der Niere sicher nachzuweisen. Erstmalig werden multiple Angiombildungen in beiden Nieren durch angiographische Bilder aufgezeigt. Die Therapie ergibt sich aus dem angiographischen Befund. Bei Doppelseitigkeit der Veränderungen muβ zwangsläufig eine konservative Behandlung crfolgen. Nur bei einseitiger Angiombildung und lebensbedrohender Blutung stellt die Nephrektomie die Methode der Wahl dar.
