Unter 247 – auf der Suche nach krankhaften VerÄnderungen – urethrographierten Patienten fanden sich 17 mit Verkalkungen der Prostata, von denen nur 3 rectal palpabel waren. Die RÖntgenaufnahmen deuten sowohl auf eine multiple Steinentwicklung im Gangsystem, als auch auf eine umschriebene Verkalkung einzelner Gewebspartien. Die diffusen, meist randstÄndigen kleinen Prostatasteine zeigten sich vorwiegend bei Prostatitis und Blasenhalsadenom, die umschriebene Verkalkung auffallend hÄufig bei der Tuberkulose der Prostata. Sichere RÜckschlÜsse auf die der Verkalkung oder Steinbildung zu Grunde liegende bzw. daneben bestehende VerÄnderung der Prostata sind aber aus der Urethrographie allein nicht zu gewinnen.
