Bei 30 Kranken mit einer chronischen mit HÄmodialyse behandelten Niereninsuffizienz wurden Untersuchungen des Gemchs- und GeschmacksvermÖ-gens durchgefÜhrt. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse vor und nach der Dialyse wurden verglichen. Geschmacks- und RiechvermÖgen wurden nach einem halben Jahr erneut beurteilt. Die Wechselbeziehungen zwischen den Schwel-lenwerten des Geruchs- und Geschmackssinnes und der Harnstoffkonzentra-tion im Blut der Kranken wurden untersucht. Der positive Einfluss der HÄmodialyse auf den Geschmacks- und den Geruchssinn der Kranken war nur von vorÜbergehender Dauer.
