Fragestellung: Es wird angenommen, dass sich die Funktion der Tuba auditiva infolge einer Schädigung der parasympathischen Schleimhautversorgung ändert. Methodik: Deshalb wurde an 20 Patienten mit peripherer idiopathischer Fazialisparese mit Hilfe einer Druckkammer und dem Dual-Impedanz-Verfahren nach Münker der Tubenöffnungsdruck, Tubenverschlussdruck und der positive sowie negative Residualdruck bestimmt. Ergebnisse: Es zeigte sich, dass sich die Werte der gesunden Seite nicht signifikant von der kranken Seite unterscheiden. Schlussfolgerung: Es wird angenommen, dass Sekretfilmänderungen im dem Ostium pharyngeum nahen Tubenabschnitt keinen wesentlichen Einfluss auf das Tubenöffnungs- bzw. Verschlussverhalten haben.
