Abstract
A 12-year-old girl with tuberculous conjunctivitis is presented. She also had miliary pulmonary tuberculosis and a positive tuberculin test. The diagnosis in the reported case was based on the histopathological appearance of the conjunctiva, positive acid-fast bacilli on stain and culture from the lesion as well as sputum, and also by the improvement after the treatment with antituberculous agents. Misdiagnosis and treatment may give rise to serious complications.
