Abstract
Die erfolgreiche Beseitigung des lokalen Harnblasentumors durch die Kombination chirurgischer Maßnahmen mit der Hartstrahltherapie verhindert bei vielen Patienten die Entwicklung der früher zum Tode führenden lokalen Komplikationen – Urämie und Anämie. Die verlängerte Überlebenszeit ermöglicht die klinische Manifestation der frühen, latenten lymphogenen und hämatogenen Metastasierung der Harnblasenkarzinome. Es werden die Zusammenhänge zwischen lokaler Geschwulstausdehnung und histologischem Typ sowie Art und Häufigkeit der beobachteten Metastasierungsformen aufgezeigt. Durch die Erkennung derartiger Erkrankungsverläufe eröffnet sich die Möglichkeit für einen rechtzeitigen Einsatz palliativer Therapiemaßnahmen.
