Klinischer und pathologisch-anatomischer Fallbericht eines Mädchens, das im Alter von 7 Wochen wegen zunehmender Hirndrucksymptome stationär aufgenommen wurde. Ein anfänglich angelegter ventrikulo-atrialer Pudenz-Drain wurde im Alter von 15 Monaten durch einen ventrikulo-peritonealen Raimondi-Drain ersetzt. Mit 16 Monaten wurde ein kleinhühnereigroßes Oligodendrogliom des linken Seiten-ventrikels in zwei Operationen teilweise entfernt, der Shunt belassen. Das Mädchen starb mit 18 Monaten an einem ausgedehnten Lokal-rezidiv. Bei der Obduktion fanden sich neben Metastasen auf dem Li-quorweg auch zahlreiche Metastasen im Abdomen vor allem in der Umgebung der Drainmündung. Der Fall stellt den elften Fall einer intrakanalikulären Metastasierung eines Glioms bei Shunt dar.
