In the article entitled “Efficacy of Antenatal Corticosteroid Treatment on Neurodevelopmental Outcome according to Head Circumference at Birth” [Neonatology; DOI: 10.1159/000479675] by Basset et al., in the Results section, the article states that “Finally, infants in families with a higher socioeconomic level had a higher probability of optimal neurodevelopmental outcome at 2 years (1.78 [0.98–1.0]).”.
The value “1.78” is not within the listed range of the 95% CI.
There was a transcription error. We performed the analysis again. The correct range is OR = 1.78 [0.98–3.23].
The corrected sentence is: “Finally, infants in families with a higher socioeconomic level had a higher probability of optimal neurodevelopmental outcome at 2 years (1.78 [0.98–3.23]).”
