The article “Determination of Clinical Decision Rule for Estimation of Bone Mineral Density in Women” [Med Princ Pract. 2011;20(5):416–421. https://doi.org/10.1159/000327661] by Shahram Yazdani, Atousa Iranpour Asli, Afshin Salemi, Arash Iranpour Asli, Mohamad Ali Heidarnia and Parvin Sarbakhsh has been retracted by the Publisher and the Editor.
It was brought to the attention of the journal that the above article contains identical content, is a translation of a previously published work [1] and the prior publication was not acknowledged in this article. As these identical republished findings were presented without proper attribution to the original work, this article has been retracted.
Atousa Iranpour Asli and Parvin Sarbakhsh do not agree with the retraction. Shahram Yazdani did not respond within the timeframe specified to state their agreement or disagreement with the retraction. The remaining authors could not be reached.
