Medical Principles and Practice is an international, peer-reviewed, FREE (authors do not pay for publication) open-access journal that covers all areas of biomedical research. Medical Principles and Practice welcomes high-quality science that seeks to elucidate the molecular and cellular basis of normal and pathological biological processes and contributes substantially to advancement of knowledge. The focus of Medical Principles and Practice is on original research, reviews, and systematic reviews that provide novel and important mechanistic insights. Papers accepted for publication in Medical Principles and Practice can therefore fall under the umbrellas of not only medicine, but also biochemistry, biophysics, genetics and epigenetics, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, systems biology, etc. Descriptive studies stating only facts and observations, without mechanistic evidence and insights, studies covering perceptions or attitudes, studies based on unverified questionnaires, and works of purely local interest are discouraged.
