The article “miR-29a Regulates the Proliferation and Migration of Human Arterial Smooth Muscle Cells in Arteriosclerosis Obliterans of the Lower Extremities” [Kidney Blood Press Res. 2019;44(5):1219–32; DOI: 10.1159/000502649] by Kun Wang, Jian Yu, Bin Wang, Hui Wang, Zuolei Shi and Guangxin Li has been retracted by the Publisher and the Editor.
Following publication, duplication was identified within Figure 6D between Vehicle 0h and Vehicle 24h images. Duplication was also identified between Figure 5A in this article and Figure 3 [1] and Figure 4A [2] in previously published articles by other authors. Duplication was also between Figure 6C in this article and Figure 6E in a previously published article by other authors [3]. When asked to comment, the corresponding author stated that the data underlying this figure has been lost and requested that the article be retracted on behalf of all authors. As the concerns raised cannot be addressed or resolved, the reliability of the findings presented in the article cannot be guaranteed and the article is being retracted.
