JVR/ESM Prize

The Journal of Vascular Research/European Society for Microcirculation (JVR/ESM) Award aims to spotlight important and growing fields of research with high impact for vascular biology and the microcirculation, with the goal of giving an award to one of the most prominent researchers in the field.

There is no application procedure: All papers published in Journal of Vascular Research in the 2 years prior to the award ceremony and ESM abstracts (of the year of the award) are eligible to enter for the JVR/ESM prize. Nomination is organized by JVR’s Editor in Chief.

A panel of experts consisting of JVR editors and ESM scientific committee members awards the EUR 2,000 prize, which is presented to the first author of the paper.

Awardees will also be given free membership of the ESM for 4 years.
