In the article entitled “Sympathetic Nerve Activity following Acute Type B Aortic Dissection: A Pilot Study” [J Vasc Res. 2024; DOI: 10.1159/000543340] by Lim et al., some individuals were incorrectly reported as having an MSNA burst incidence of >100 bursts per 100 beats.

The authors reviewed the original data and identified that the previously amended version to address this query initially raised during the peer review process was not included in the final submitted manuscript. The authors have reviewed the initial raw data and identified that the published MSNA burst incidence is incorrect and should not exceed 100 bursts per 100 beats. The authors have identified that the MSNA burst incidence in the acute phase was 97 bursts/100 beats (73–99) in the patient group compared to 71 bursts/100 beats (39–97) in the control group (effect size 0.83). In the recovery phase, the MSNA burst incidence in the patient group was 75 bursts/100 beats (50–91) compared to 62 bursts/100 beats (43–80) in the control group (effect size 0.50). This has been corrected and revisions are required to Figure 1 and Table 2 as well as values in the Results section of the abstract, and values in the Results section entitled Sympathetic Nerve Activity.
