Abstract
Tinnitus gehÖrt zu den 20 hÄufigsten BeratungsanlÄssen von 45- bis 64-JÄhrigen in deutschen Hausarztpraxen. In der Literatur wird ein Zusammenhang zwischen Krankheitsbildern der HalswirbelsÄule und den Kerngebieten verschiedener Hirnnerven postuliert. Das vorliegende Fallbeispiel einer 30-jÄhrigen Patientin mit akutem Tinnitus nach HÖrsturz, die nach einer einmaligen manualmedizinischen Behandlung auf HÖhe C0/C1 komplett von ihrem Tinnitus befreit werden konnte, unterstÜtzt diese These. Ob hieraus die Handlungsempfehlung abzuleiten ist, bei der Behandlung eines Tinnitus eine zervikale Ursache in die Differenzialdiagnose mit aufzunehmen, sollte Gegenstand weiterer Forschung sein.
