A Unique Forum for Preclinical and Clinical Studies of Cognitive Dysfunction

The journal offers a platform for exploring cognitive dysfunction through innovative preclinical and clinical investigations. Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders concentrates on Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementias, as well as neurodegenerative disorders where cognitive dysfunction is a major aspect of disease. The journal draws from diverse related research disciplines such as bioinformatics, psychogeriatrics, neuropsychology, clinical neurology, neuroimaging, physiology, genetics, molecular biology, pathology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutics. A strong emphasis is placed on the publication of research findings from multi-disciplinary studies, which incorporate basic science and pre-clinical aspects with the clinical and therapeutic experience to provide a comprehensive understanding and deep appreciation of the field.

Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders Extra is an Open Access and online-only sister journal that provides additional peer-reviewed content based on both independent submissions and transferred submissions from Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders.
