Article Collection: Nail Disorders - Latest Findings and Recent Advances

Nail conditions are commonly seen in dermatologic practice and significantly impact quality of life. They are generally difficult to treat and often frustrating.
Medical and surgical residency training may vary depending on nail lectures, hands-on surgical training sessions, and the presence of a dermatologist specialising in nail disease on the faculty. Moreover, more lectures on nails are often needed at conferences and continuing medical education activities. For this reason, staying current and covering gaps in knowledge of nail diseases is essential.
Leading experts in the fields and young experts have contributed to this collection to provide recent advances in nail science and disorders.
This article collection was edited by Matilde Iorizzo (Private Dermatology Practice, Switzerland) and Bertrand Richert (Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium) and published in Skin Appendage Disorders.

Conflict of Interest statement: The editors have no conflict of interest to declare.
