Nail conditions are commonly seen in dermatologic practice and significantly impact quality of life. They are generally difficult to treat and often frustrating.
Medical and surgical residency training may vary depending on nail lectures, hands-on surgical training sessions, and the presence of a dermatologist specialising in nail disease on the faculty. Leading experts in the fields and young experts have contributed to this collection to provide recent advances in nail science and disorders.
