Medicine and Sport Science

This series was inaugurated at a time when the sports sciences were separated from medicine. From the first volume on, the editors have united these two areas in order to bridge the gap between medicine and sport science and to give the scientific community at large, and biomedical researchers in particular, the full benefit of current advances being made in the multifaceted domains of sports medicine. Contributions from biomechanics, biochemistry, morphology, engineering, and from different areas of clinical medicine are incorporated into this innovative series.
