Book Details
These letters to a young doctor deal with a physician"s tactics or, as Schlesinger explains in the introduction, the art to win and keep his patients" confidence while never forgetting the aim of all medical practice, i.e. to help the patient. He advises to talk to patients on the same footing and stresses the importance of finding the right words in every situation and for everybody. It is still sound advice.
