Abstract
An apparent response to erythropoietin was demonstrated in all marrow cell suspensions from 12 patients with acquired aplastic anemia (8 idiopathic type and 4 drug-induced aplastic anemia). However, the degree of response in aplastic anemia of both idiopathic and secondary type anemia was significantly lower than that of normal controls.
